my first dinner

I was exhausted from my red eye flight to Paris and barely slept. So by the time I got to my apt and unpacked, I was ready for a nap. While I slept, it rained and quickly cleared up. Luckily, I got this shot outside of my balcony.

Soon after I walked around my neighborhood and found this church.

Then I had my first meal, at this restaurant called P'tite Bougnate I ordered a quiche (one of the few things that I recognized on the menu!)

my paris apt

I was so lucky to find this great apt/room to rent for my stay in Paris. While searching on Airbnb, I saw these great pictures, so of course I had to click and take a look. Caroline and Nicolas rent out two of their bedrooms in their Haussmanian style flat. I'm currently staying in their white room. The whole apt has a balcony wrapped around it so there is great light and fresh air. It is a welcomed change from my NYC apt.

Gentry Fall/Holiday 2011

Gentry's Fall/Holiday 2011 Williams Collection is out. I got a sneak peak of their catalog last week. I love the location (The Stahl House Case Study #22.), the models and of course the ties.  Keep up the amazing work Annie & Greg!

Get your own Gentry ties here and see who's donned these handsome ties and accessories.

Bon jour Paris!

By the time this post goes up, I'll be in Paris! It's been a life long dream of mine to live in the City of Lights. And this past year, I finally gained the courage to do it.  Hopefully my month long stay will be  enough time to soak it all in. I'll be updating my new adventures on this blog, so I hope you will follow along.

Christine Han Photography

I had the pleasure of meeting photographer, Christine Han at a friend's going away party this week. After checking out her beautiful photos, I can see why she's planning on getting married on a farm in the Catskills. I really admire the calm and peacefulness she brings to her shots. See more of her work here.
